Christian Tre' Woodson
Director of Emergency Management and Preparedness
Christian Tre' Woodson served as the Director of Safety and Security for the Department of Mental Health at Metro Boston. Christian developed comprehensive safety and security management plans that provide and promote a safe and secure environment. Christian provided direct oversight to three (3) sites at the Department of Mental Health, Metro Boston for Campus Police and the Transportation department. Christian also worked as a U.S. Federal Probation Officer for the United States Federal Courts investigating and supervising persons charged with and convicted of crimes against the United States of America. Christian is a graduate of (FLETC) the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers. He learned how to drive safely in emergency situations, how to work undercover in disguise, safely operate firearms, how to collect and inspect evidence like fingerprints and photos at a crime scene, and much more. Christian brings with him to this position approximately nine years of experience.
He worked for the Raleigh Police Department as a specialized intern while obtaining his Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice with a Concentration in Homeland Security from North Carolina Central University which is known as a HBCU. He was a former Campus Police Officer for the Department of Mental Health while he was in graduate school. Christian received a Master of Science in Emergency Management from Massachusetts Maritime Academy in 2016. He learned how to develop plans to mitigate, prepare, respond and recover from natural and manmade disasters. He holds emergency management institute FEMA certifications in IS 100, ICS 100, 200, 300, 400 & NIMS 700, 800 and IS 2200.
Over the next few years Christian worked for the Norfolk County Sheriff's Office as a Corrections Officer and Office Manager in the Bio Tech industry. Christian worked for Gavin De Becker as an Executive Protection Agent for CEO's, celebrities, billionaires and politicians from the Whitehouse. Christian is a motivated self-starter with strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills. His keen attention to detail makes him a true asset and aids when performing tasks. Christian began his new journey with BPS on September 26, 2023.
