The BPS Teacher Cadet Program (TC) is a district-wide enrichment and development initiative that focuses on developing the next generation of BIPOC educators, equipping them with the tools to think critically, research thoroughly, and communicate effectively, to best serve their communities as culturally responsive and linguistically diverse educators.

BPS Bilingual Education Accelerated Community to Teacher Program (BE/ACTT)
We believe that the next generation of BPS teachers are in our classrooms or are in the homes and in community organizations in the City of Boston right now. We are committed to developing programs that provide multiple access points to prepare our next generation of educators.
The BPS Bilingual Education/Accelerated Community to Teacher (BE/ACTT) Program is part of an overarching strategy to increase the number of top teachers in the district who reflect the racial, cultural and linguistic diversity of our students and our community.
It takes ONLY 12 months and at NO COST to you to become an equity-minded, highly qualified, and licensed teacher (and SEI-endorsed) in Boston Public Schools in the most progressive, innovative, and accessible program for paraprofessionals and career-changers.

BPS Teaching Fellowship (BPSTF)
The BPS Teaching Fellowship (BPSTF) is a year-long, practicum-based program that provides sustained coaching to first-year teachers as they complete their CAP portfolio for Initial Licensure. BPSTF is the only district-based DESE-approved program in Massachusetts.
Teachers spend 12 months acquiring knowledge and developing strong instructional practices in actual Boston classrooms, with personalized training and expert coaches to guide them along the way. Candidates are cultivated as they complete their pre-practicum portfolio in our Bilingual Education/Accelerated Community to Teacher (BE/ACTT) Program.
